Schloss Trautenfels
The natural and cultural history of Styria’s Enns Valley and Aussee regions form the core of the Schloss Trautenfels collection. Begun in the 1950s, it brings together zoological, geological and mineralogical items, folklore objects and archaeological finds from the region. Apart from its memorable exhibitions, the castle itself is fascinating for its high-quality Baroque interiors and unforgettable views of the surrounding mountains.

Grim Mount Grimming
Mons Styriae altissimus
This exhibition takes a wide-ranging look at ‘grim’ Mount Grimming. Sombre myths jostle with topical interviews, and works by amateur painter Archduke Johann vie with contemporary art and everyday culture.

Schloss Trautenfels
